๐ Property List โ
The Property List page shows all properties managed within your Sorto account in a single table view. This is your primary dashboard for locating, reviewing, and accessing property records.
๐ Features of the Property List โ
- View all properties, including their address, status (active/inactive), and assigned manager (if applicable)
- Click on any list item to access property details, repairs, and planned maintenance history
๐ Searching โ
You can quickly find the property you're looking for using these tools:
- Search Bar: Use the search bar at the top to search by address
- Filter by Status and Manager: Narrow the list by property status (active/inactive) and assigned manager, making it easier to work across active and inactive properties or find the ones a specific manager is responsible for
- Combined Filters: Use search alongside sorting and filters for precise results
โฌ๏ธโฌ๏ธ Sorting the Table โ
You can sort the table by any column:
- Click a column header once to sort AโZ or oldestโnewest
- Click again to reverse the order (ZโA or newestโoldest)
- Click a third time to remove sorting and restore the default order
Tip: When you scroll through the list and open a property, your position is remembered when you return, so you can pick up exactly where you left off without scrolling again.
โ๏ธ Actions โ
- Add Property: Add a new property using the button in the top-right corner
- Assign Manager: Bulk assign or update managers for multiple properties using the following steps:
- Select individual properties using the checkbox next to each address, or select all visible items with the top checkbox
- A dropdown will appear at the bottom of the page
- Choose a manager from the dropdown and click Assign
- All selected properties will be updated with the selected manager
Tip: Use the search bar to filter the property list before selecting items to assign a manager. You can also increase the page size to display more records at once, making bulk selection faster and easier.
Once a manager is assigned to a job:
- All job-related email notifications will be sent directly to the assigned manager instead of the company email address.
- The job will only be visible to the assigned manager and admin users within the company. Other manager users will not see this job in their list.
This setup helps streamline job responsibilities and ensures managers only see and receive updates relevant to their assigned properties.
