๐ ๏ธ Repair Settings โ
This page explains how to manage your repair settings. You can customise how tenants report repairs by setting up rooms, categories, and questionnaires.
๐ข Repair Levels โ
There are four levels of repair settings you can add:
- Room
- Category
- Subcategory
- Sub-subcategory
Each level helps organise repairs more precisely.
๐ก To view the child levels of any Room or Category, simply click anywhere on the card. This will take you to the next level where you can manage subcategories or questions.
๐ Room & Category โ
For both Room and Category, you can:
- Add a title
- Select an icon to represent it visually
You can also add a questionnaire starting from the Category level and below.
๐งพ How Questionnaires Work โ
A questionnaire helps guide tenants through the repair reporting process.
Example: โ
Question: Is your boiler leaking?
You can set what happens when the tenant selects:
- โ Yes
- โ No
Action Options for Each Answer: โ
- Another Question: Ask a follow-up question
- Video: Paste a YouTube link to help the tenant fix the issue
- Article: Write an explanation, style the text, add images, or insert useful links
- No Selection: The tenant will continue reporting without any follow-up
โ๏ธ Managing Entries โ
For each Room, Category, Subcategory, or Sub-subcategory, you can:
- Edit: Click the ๐ pencil icon
- Hide/Show: Click the ๐ eye icon to show or hide it from tenants
- Delete: Click the bin icon ๐๏ธ
โ ๏ธ You can't delete a Room or Category if it's already used in existing repairs.
This setup allows you to create a tailored repair reporting experience for your tenants, reducing confusion and ensuring clearer communication.
